Gundahar Bolger

Eldest son of Gundolpho Bolger

Eldest of the three sons of Gundolpho Bolger and Alfrida of the Yale, Gundahar belonged to the earlier generations of the Bolger family. He married Dina Diggle, and they had two children: a son, Adalgar, and a daughter, Adaldrida. Through Adalgar, Gundahar was the ancestor of the elder branch of the Bolger family, and also (indirectly) of Frodo Baggins. Through Adaldrida, he was an ancestor of Meriadoc Brandybuck.
