EntmaidensEntwives as they were in their youthBefore they became Entwives, young female Ents were known as Entmaidens. By the end of the Third Age, the Entwives had long been lost, and so the time of the Entmaidens belonged to a period in the remote past. One of the Entmaidens, known as Fimbrethil or Wandlimb, became Entwife to Treebeard, but she was lost with all the others of her kind before the Third Age dawned.
