Great Captain

A title of Aldarion

Aldarion was the son and heir to King Tar-Meneldur of Númenor. A great mariner and explorer, he founded the Guild of Venturers and became its leader, going by the title of 'the Great Captain'. Aldarion sailed to Middle-earth many times, navigating its coasts far into the south and founding a Númenórean haven at Vinyalondë.
