Hérinkë‘Little lady’An Elvish title given in affectionate respect that might be used, for example, by a trusted servant of a noble child. Our only example of this term in actual use comes from the tale of Aldarion and Erendis, where the country woman Zamîn uses the title hérinkë to address Ancalimë who, though still a young girl, was a direct descendant of the royal line. The word comes from Elvish heri, 'lady', with the diminutive ending -inkë added to create a name meaning literally 'little lady'.
