The eldest child and only daughter of Axantur of Númenor. She was born into a lesser line of the House of Elros (being a descendant of Nolondil, the youngest son of Vardamir Nólimon) and was a contemporary of her distant cousin Tar-Meneldur, the fifth King of Númenor. Lindissë had two younger brothers, Ardamir and Cemendur.
