A title given to Manwë the High King of Arda, reflecting his special province of the airs and winds of the world. This English version of the title is a free translation of Manwë's Elvish surname Súlimo. Manwë not only commanded the airs, but also the birds that flew through them: spirits in the shapes of Eagles and hawks brought news to Manwë on the peak of Taniquetil from all the parts of the world.
