LórindolThe surname of HadorIt was common among the Men of the Third House of the Edain to have golden hair, and the most famous member of that house, Hador of Dor-lómin, took his surname from his golden locks. He was known as Hador the Golden-haired or Goldenhead or, more usually, in the Elvish form Lórindol. Hador passed on his flaxen hair to many of his children and descendants, and indeed he named his daughter Glóredhel, 'golden Elf'.
