The Great Rider
Nessa

Oromë was the Huntsman of the Valar, and led his hunt on his shining horse Nahar across the lands of Aman and Middle-earth. While riding through the distant eastern lands of Middle-earth, Oromë discovered the newly-awakened Elves by the waters of Cuiviénen. Those first Elves had been hunted under the starlight by a dark and mysterious Rider, so at first they feared the appearance of the Great Rider on his silver steed. Oromë overcame their fears, and many of the Eldar chose to follow the Great Rider into the West to dwell in the lands of Aman.
