Tar-ArdaminThe nineteenth of Númenor’s rulers
The heir and successor of Tar-Calmacil, whose name in Adûnaic was Ar-Abattarîk, Tar-Ardamin was succeeded in turn by his own son Ar-Adûnakhôr. In earlier editions of The Lord of the Rings, Tar-Ardamin did not appear in the list of Númenórean Kings and Queens, where the succession is shown as passing directly from Tar-Calmacil to Ar-Adûnakhôr.
