The Tree of Tirion (somewhat conjectural)
The Vanyar and the Noldor in Aman built a city on the hill of Túna, which they named Tirion. Both of these peoples loved the White Tree Telperion, and so Yavanna created an image of it for them, which they planted in the courts beneath the Mindon Eldaliéva, the Tower of Ingwë their High King. They named this tree Galathilion, and as the years passed it produced seedlings of its own. One of these seedlings was planted on the island of Tol Eressëa, and from it sprang the line of the White Trees that later grew in Númenor, and later still in the courts of Gondor in Middle-earth.
