The major divisions of the Eldar. Those branches shown in bold text comprised the Amanyar, the Elves of who completed the Great Journey to Aman.

One of the great divisions of the Elves, signifying those that completed the Great Journey into the West. The Amanyar were comprised of the peoples of the Vanyar and the Noldor, and also those of the Teleri who made the crossing of the Great Sea. Many of the Teleri remained behind in Middle-earth, and those Elves were counted among the Úmanyar, the Elves not of Aman.
