Amon UilosMount Everwhite![]() The Sindarin equivalent of the Quenya name Oiolossë, the mountain of everlasting snow that towered above even the Pelóri, the tallest mountains in the world. It was better known by the name of Taniquetil, the great white mountain on the peak of which stood the halls of Manwë and Varda. From their thrones on the pinnacle of Amon Uilos they were said to be able to see the entirety of Arda. Notes
