Mountain of ManwëThe peak of the Elder King![]() A name for Taniquetil, the immense White Mountain that stood among the range of the Pelóri, protecting Valinor against possible dangers from the east. On the summit of the Mountain was Ilmarin, the mansion and halls of Manwë the Elder King and his spouse Varda Elentári.
